Hello! My name is Wesley Schwartz and I am the Children’s Pastor here. I was born and raised here in Lewiston and really enjoy the many options for outdoor activity that our region brings. My wife Heather and I married in 2012 after getting connected through the college ministry here at OCC. We now have two kids, which keep us very busy.

I began to serve alongside my wife in Awana, our midweek children’s program, and I fell in love with working with kids. After a few years I began leading Awana, still as a volunteer, and my wife and I enjoyed working together in that common passion. Then in 2020 I was brought on staff here at OCC as the Children’s Pastor. There are many aspects to children’s ministry here at OCC that I really enjoy, but midweek children’s (Awana) still remains a high place of joy and passion for me.

I am so glad that you are here and taking time to learn more about us, and the opportunities available for your family. We are honored to partner with you in the discipleship and raising up of your child. Our team of volunteers love what they do, and desire to see kid’s lives transformed by the Gospel. I look forward to meeting you and your family in person whether it be at a Sunday/Monday service or during the week.
