Forrest Jenkins
Hi, my name is Forrest Jenkins, your Connections Pastor here at Orchards Community Church! My family has attended OCC since 2006 and I came on staff full-time in 2022. I grew up in the area and attended the Asotin-Anatone School District, also being active in 4-H and FFA for many years. Michelle and I were married, having been high school sweethearts, and made our first home together in Pasco, WA where I completed the Ironworkers local 14 apprenticeship. Soon after, we moved back to Clarkston when presented the opportunity to start a career in insurance and financial services. Eventually I retired and sold the business after thirty-eight years, pursuing a new opportunity to join staff at OCC. Michelle and I have three grown children living in the greater Spokane area with ten grandchildren we love to visit with monthly!
A large part of my ministry here at OCC is engaging people relationally and encouraging them in their walk with Christ. This is best accomplished by creating a relational culture and connecting the unconnected, which are both things I am passionate about. Ultimately I want to strengthen families within our church, always pointing them toward Christ Jesus!

Mom’s in Prayer
Mom’s in Prayer is a group of moms who pray for children and schools worldwide! We will be praying scripturally for each other’s prodigals/estranged child, offering, and receiving support, encouragement, comfort, guidance, and many resources weekly. Women’s Fall Conference
OCC annual women’s conference will be joining Priscilla Shirer in her Going Beyond simulcast. This year’s topic will be “Experience the Truth of Scripture and the Power of Prayer”. We will begin on Friday September 19th from 6:00-8:30pm with dinner, followed by our 1st session. On Saturday September 20th, doors will open at 9:30am and we will start with coffee

MomCo
MomCo is a bi-monthly meeting that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as moms, women, and leaders. Our ultimate goal is to reach our to these young moms with the hope of Jesus. Here at Orchards Community Church, we want to give moms of young children a space to build community and learn about motherhood
Griefshare
GriefShare groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare methods which can help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. This is a 13 week class. Books are $20. Current session starts September 15th, 2025 Mondays at 7pm-9pm in the Community
Young Adult Conference
Attention college and young adult students! Join us for a young adult conference happening at OCC’s facilities! We will have three meals, tons of fun games, and solid Bible teaching! This will start on Friday, September 26th, from 5pm – 10 pm, and then on Saturday, September 27th, from 10am- 10pm. The cost for the entire event is only $25
